"You are not, so stop pretending and stop wasting. put down your DSLR and let me breathe! that thing you are holding looks barely like a camera, rather a box filled with 80thousand bucks in cash! you dont know how to deserve it, you are just your daddy's little angel, always with a white ring floating above your head. throw your daddy's money to hell, no one cares! but dont destroy the art, stay away from it, its not for you!"
But you see, as the entropy is increasing, heats are gradually spreading around towards an equilibrium of temperature. to me, the concept of entropy is not limited to this specific field. there is a neat increment of money and the availability of resources to mass people. that's development, that's bad.
Now everybody can buy a 70thousand camera, a 1 lakh guitar or a 2 lakh handy-cam. they dont even know about bokeh but they are taking snaps! they dont know whats music but they are recording their own songs. they are even making their own movies and even worse, uploading them online! I dont understand, why do untalented people have to try something extraordinary! why dont they live their life to the fullest doing ordinary things! they not only mess up their lives, but make it harder for the Artists to establish real Arts, as mass people are easily confused about good & bad. so these ordinary ignorant wealthy wannabe artists are just, in two words ........ "pseudo artists".
Maybe that's why some famous man once said:
'sometimes it's wise not to do anything. '
well, i will take some time to comment on your whole article....but I can't agree more on one thing...."there is a neat increment of money and the availability of resources to mass people. that's development, that's bad." With development of technology and increase in general people's buying power....now ordinary people can do stuffs which even a few years back took hell outta the real artists. "Extra-ordinary" is becoming "ordinary". And this is giving these ignorant people a false sense of accomplishment. Now media is filled with "nice looking polished crappy" stuffs.
ReplyDeleteexactly atique. anyways, you sure do have a blog of your own, give me its address so that I can follow yours.
ReplyDeletei agree with u sauro up2 sum extends.....
ReplyDeleteyeah i appreciate that u are pointing out such pseudo atrists...
but the thing is if u were stopped just after 2 stokes of brush on your very first painting/sketch, will we have the chance 2 be amazed seeing one of your masterpiece. no caz there wont be any masterpiece. sorry ,if your parents followed your "statement line", there wont be any piece.
yeah wealthy angels of rich fathers are getting hands 2 da costliest equipment of da trade, for sum without even having the basic knowledge of using it. but the thing is if your father was more financially binded then wht he was then, ur creativity wouldnt hav flourish that much as it has now.......
prove me wrong, logics are always welcomed...
"go do all your experiments in your own dark room man! but dont preach your shits, only preach arts" this was the main theme of this post. I was just talking about those people who are still wasting(or showing off?!) money without any purpose and preaching their shits believing those to be masterpieces! I think you misunderstood my post.
ReplyDelete(btw, this post was designed in a way that it would hurt those people the most, who fall in this category!)
Why does the camera in the picture have to be a nikon D90? I demand it's removal as it attacks the integrity of a certain community of true artists.
ReplyDeletesorry I couldn't keep your request, but you have to understand, the only group of people who will be personally offended by that picture are the very people I mentioned in this post, not genuine artists. I hope you are not offended by this picture anymore.
ReplyDeleteI sense someone wants to let people know he/she owns a certain expensive DSLR and is good at it!
